Dryden Search partners with Harry’s Hat to support
children affected by Hydrocephalus

With the celebration of Dryden Search’s five-year anniversary still fresh, we reflected on our goals for the business over the next five years. A key commitment we identified was our want to partner with a charity that embodies our value of community support.

With that in mind, it is with great excitement that we announce Harry’s Hat as our chosen charity partner for 2025. https://harrys-hat.org/

Harry’s Hat is a small UK-based charity that is deeply committed to improving the lives of children affected by hydrocephalus, a condition where excess fluid builds up in and around the brain and causes damage when left untreated.

This incredible charity not only raises awareness but provides amazing resources and support directly to families, and funds training for healthcare workers. Their ultimate goal is to create a brighter future where hydrocephalus is detected and treated as early as possible, to minimize long-term complications.

Harry’s Hat has a special connection to us, and we have seen first-hand the amazing support the charity provides families. Understanding the emotional and physical burden these families face reinforces why supporting Harry’s Hat is so important to us.

Every year, 1 in 770 babies are diagnosed with hydrocephalus, but despite this public awareness remains extremely low. This is why Harry’s Hat’s “Get-A-Head” campaign is critical, advocating for better infant head circumference measurements to facilitate earlier diagnosis and treatment.

We invite everyone to join us in supporting Harry’s Hat’s work by signing the petition for their “Get-A-Head” campaign and participating in fundraising activities. We are so excited to start this journey and encourage everyone to join us! Even the smallest of contributions can make a huge difference.

Stay tuned for upcoming fundraising events we will be hosting or participating in.

In the meantime, please take a moment to sign the petition at www.change.org/measurebabyheads and help us, and all the Harry’s Hat community, to make life better for children with hydrocephalus!
